S2200ME-PAF support 802.1x, which requests identification authentication when subscriber accesses network and offers remote function testing and trouble-shooting. It enables the user access limitation via MAC address number, support MAC address and port-based binding, maximally ensure the validity of user access.

S2200ME-PAF enable port/VLAN based rate limiting function, support rate control over ingress/egress port with the minimal granularity of 64Kbps, which contribute to prevent malicious action from occupying network bandwidth.
